At EventPark, we take your privacy seriously. This document explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and the rights you have over your data. By using our platform (website and mobile app), you agree to the processing of your information as described in this policy.
When you create an account, we collect your full name and email address, along with email verification.
When you complete your profile, we store the information you choose to provide — job title, company, a short bio, profile picture, LinkedIn/Instagram handles, website link, and interests.
During event and ticket transactions, we record your registrations, the ticket type purchased, payment method, and transaction reference — not card details themselves, which are processed by a trusted payment provider.
When you use networking and messaging features, we store the connection requests you send, the connections you make, and the content of your direct messages.
As you take part in an event, we record the notes you write, the questions you submit (Q&A), your survey responses, event/session ratings and reviews, bookmarked events, and organizers you follow.
Device and usage information: technical data such as your last-seen time, language preference, and notification settings.
We use the information we collect solely to provide EventPark's services — managing your account, confirming ticket and registration transactions, enabling QR code check-in, and sending event-related notifications.
We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for marketing purposes without your consent.
When you register for an event, your related attendee information (name, email, ticket status) is shared only with that event's organizer, so they can manage your attendance.
When you enable the "discoverable" setting on your profile, your name, job title, company, and interests may be shown to other attendees at the same event as networking suggestions.
You can turn this setting off at any time from your profile settings — once off, your profile no longer appears in networking suggestions.
The LinkedIn, Instagram, and website links you share on your profile are displayed exactly as you provide them. Clicking these links makes you subject to that platform's own privacy policy.
We use browser cookies to improve your experience on the site — for example, to remember your language preference and keep you signed in.
You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but doing so may prevent some parts of the site from working properly.
Your personal information is shared with third parties only in the following cases: with payment providers (to complete a transaction), with the organizer of an event you register for, and with relevant authorities where required by law.
EventPark never sells your information to third-party companies for advertising purposes.
Your data is stored on encrypted infrastructure with strictly limited access rights.
When you delete your account, your personal information is removed from our systems, except where we are legally required to retain it (for example, records of financial transactions).
You can view, correct, or update your personal information from your profile settings.
You can delete your account directly from the settings section — no separate request is needed.
If you no longer want to receive new-event notifications, you can turn them off at any time from your profile settings.
EventPark's services are not intended for individuals under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect information from such individuals.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the platform.
If you have questions, write to us at support@eventpark.io.
